PUBLICATION CARE

Help us make the next reading clearer.

If a passage is confusing, a link is broken or a statement may be wrong, show us where to look. A precise question helps us distinguish a correction from a change that happened later.

Three details make a useful report

01

Identify the material

Give the book title, edition and page or section. For the website, copy the page address. Include a file version or review date if one is shown.

02

Describe the issue

Quote the short passage or explain what you expected and what happened. Tell us whether the problem is wording, a source, a link or a resource.

03

Add a source, if you have one

Include its title, date and link. A source is helpful but is not required to ask a question.

No corrections have been posted yet. This line will change when the first one is.

An error and a later change are different

A statement may need correction because it was wrong when published. Another may have been accurate at the time but affected by a later rule or policy change. Keeping the edition and dates together helps us understand which problem you found.

Keep your decision separate from the report

Sending a question does not confirm that a statement applies to a particular practice. For a time-sensitive decision, review the current source and the circumstances involved.

Second Edition status

Medicare Incident-To Billing for Mental Health Counselors: Second Edition in preparation.

The working manuscript is being prepared and reviewed. Read the planned scope on the manual page. A source review of a draft passage does not mean the complete edition has been cleared for publication.

For an earlier edition or a missing resource, get reader help. Include the title, edition, and page so the question can be matched to the material you have.

Send us the passage or problem.

You can describe it without including patient information, confidential records or account details. This contact route is available for earlier editions as well.
