Dr. Elizabeth Teklinski and Dr. Andrew Teklinski co-founded the Center for Integrative Neuroscience. Their work brings different professional perspectives to the same question: how can care better reflect the person receiving it?

Clinical experience, education and systems
Dr. Elizabeth Teklinski, PhD, LPC, NCC, NPT-C, is a co-founder of Center for Integrative Neuroscience and serves on the board of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association (MMHCA) as Member at Large and chairs its Education and Community Outreach committee. Her writing and teaching connect whole-person care, interdisciplinary practice, and the systems that support that work.
Writing across professional boundaries
She leads statewide Medicare education for counselors, co-authored the Center’s Medicare manual for mental health counselors and ICD-11 in America, and brings a clinical foundation in hospice and palliative care, chronic pain, and integrative care.
Dr. Andrew Teklinski
MD, MS, FACC, CCDS, RPVI · Co-founder
Dr. Andrew Teklinski is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His clinical work includes cardiology and vascular diagnostics, and he serves as medical director of vascular services and of a vein clinic, alongside participation in more than twenty clinical outcome trials, including service as a principal investigator in Phase III studies.
Evidence and everyday care
He co-authored the Center’s Medicare manual with Dr. Elizabeth Teklinski. Their work considers how medical and mental health professionals can collaborate while preserving clear clinical responsibilities. His experience connects research questions with decisions about what the evidence supports and where uncertainty remains.
